Now it‘s official - the SENNEBOGEN Foundation set up by the SENNEBOGEN family of entrepreneurs from the town of Straubing has been officially recognized by the Government of Lower Bavaria. „With the SENNEBOGEN Foundation, we're bringing together our many social activities with the primary intention of encouraging young people before and during their school, vocational and academic education," notes Walter Sennebogen, explaining the purpose of the foundation.

Education and training is becoming ever more decisive in the occupational opportunities available to young people. This is exactly the reason why the founders want on the one hand to support young people who have special needs due to their physical or mental condition, so that they can concentrate on their education, and on the other support successful trainees and gifted students through scholarships and prizes for particularly good performance as well as supporting the further education of committed graduates. It is also intended to help people who are financially needy due to illness or accident. The city of Straubing, the Child protection Agency and the Lions Club will decide on how the funds are to be used in the Straubing region.
