The family company SENNEBOGEN is emphasising its company philosophy "Leading through innovation" with the new VARIO TOOL. The VARIO TOOL will be a unique opportunity for simply, fast and safe switching between various attachment devices for the new 830 D-series material handling machines from the SENNEBOGEN Green Line to start with. This innovation was first presented to all of the experts at the bauma 2007 along with the 830 M D-series. The visitors were thrilled by the unique construction and the simple operation of the system.

The VARIO TOOL is a newly designed hydraulic quick-change system with fully automatic coupling of all connections. The operator can switched quickly and easily between the following attachments without leaving the cab:

• Hanging curved insert for grabber attachment,
• Reversing insert for attaching sorting/breaking grabbers.
• Shear attachment, for shears of other companies as well as for a complete package with LaBounty shear MSD2000R.

A magnetic cable for the magnet plate attachment is also able to be integrated in the quick-connect coupling. All hydraulic and electrical connections are made with the push of a button. This greatly increases the operational productivity and flexibility and is active safety.

ECONOMICAL, SIMPLE AND SAFE Changing attachments simply and quickly guarantees highly efficient utilisation of the machine. This opens up completely new perspectives in the working environment for the user - the advantages are especially evident in scrap yards and demolition sites. Frequent switching between the grabber and shears can be done economically and with no problems with the VARIO TOOL, which enables cutting and loading with the same machine. The right tool always ready in record time. Stand-still times of the machine because of time-consuming and laborious tool changes belong to the past. The advantages of various special machines are combined in a single machine.

The unique coupling mechanism with surround-protection and a 12 mm steel flap ensures a leak-free and wear-free connection and an optimal protection against dust and contamination if coupled or not. The attachments can be picked up from the ground and put back down on the ground - an enormous plus in speed and safety. No blocks or supports are necessary.

The new quick-change coupling can be connected on either side, even under working pressure. Largely dimensioned hydraulic cross-sections guarantee full transmission capacity with no loss. SENNEBOGEN TOOL CONTROL ensures optimal actuation of the various tools by programming various hydraulic quantity and pressure settings. By separating the actuation of the mechanical and hydraulic connections, overlaps or influences to the connection are prevented.

A high degree of safety is ensured by the 3-fold centring of the connection between the jaw and the insert. Acoustic signals support the operator and guarantee a perfect latch.
