Family company SENNEBOGEN continues to work closely with customers and the trade. This close cooperation has led to the latest innovation from Straubing - the SENNEBOGEN Multicrane 608. The multicrane, with an infinitely revolving superstructure, was designed and built especially for use as a crane working with a lifting platform but also for excavation use.

New benchmarks in Telehandler technology

Thanks to its innovative technology the SENNEBOGEN Multicrane 608 sets new standards in the traditional construction sector. Its superior design concept, compactness (4.86 m long, 3m high and 2.55m wide) and manoeuvrability mean that the SENNEBOGEN Multicrane 608 can now operate in areas in which size has previously prevented the achievement of the necessary flexibility. 4 tonnes lifting capacity at a lift height of 20 m with a compact 4.86 m long, 4.6 m wide outrigger area speaks for itself.

Convincing facts

The compact SENNEBOGEN Multicrane 608 is equipped with a 5-piece telescopic boom. This not only gives the SENNEBOGEN Multicrane 608 a maximum lift height of more than 20 m with fork prongs but also reduces the front and rear crane overhang. The SENNEBOGEN Multicrane 608's innovative anti-deformation boom system with its oversized cross-sections is designed for continuous use with heavy rubble. The usable load therefore with e.g. fork prongs at the maximum reach of 18 m is 700 kg. At a lift height of 20 m, this version of the SENNEBOGEN Multicrane 608 can safely lift a usable load of 4,000 kg and can lift the maximum usable load of 6,000 kg to a height of more than 10 m. Fitted with a winch the 608 can lift 8,000 kg!

Powerful yet agile

The new Multicrane 608 is driven by a 90 kW Deutz engine which is situated on the right-hand side of the superstructure with easy access for service. The permanent all-wheel drive provides good traction even on soft ground. The hydrostatic drive in conjunction with a power-shift enables a driving speed of over 30 km/h. All-wheel steering with three possible steering types lend the SENNEBOGEN Multicrane 608 great manoeuvrability. The 608 can operate with ease even in the most confined circumstances.

Effective driver assistance

An axial piston pump in conjunction with an electrical pilot control enables fast operations and maximum sensitivity. Another key contributor to the machine's effectiveness is its modern, spacious cab with great all-round visibility and ergonomic seating position. A "Cab up/down" foot switch triggers the hydraulic elevation of the cab to 4.1 meters viewing height plus 17° tilt angle to enable excellent visibility of the site. This greatly enhances efficiency and is a form of active safety.

The standard rapid tool changing system with extra-wide through-going quick-change plate lets you changes tools on the SENNEBOGEN Multicrane 608 both quickly and easily.

As with the SENNEBOGEN Multihandler 305 the anti-deformation telescopic arm, the deliberate compactness coupled with high performance data and the elevating cab are the most important product features of the new Multicrane. Together with the Multihandler 305, the SENNEBOGEN Multicrane 608 represents the new 'compact line' at SENNEBOGEN.
