BAUER Maschinen GmbH is active in all aspects of special civil engineering. In addition to rotating drilling rigs and trench cutters, Bauer also offers pile driving equipment, anchor drilling rigs, mixing plants and diesel sledges, as well as geothermal drilling rigs.

The tremendous flexibility and versatility of the SENNEBOGEN 608 Mulitcrane are paying dividends during set-up work and at the new Bauer deep drilling unit ERWIN I. With a lifting capacity of 8 t, a 20 m telescopic boom and the hydraulic quick change system, the machine is ready to use quickly and reliably for a wide range of tasks and is supplied together with the deep drilling system for set-up and assembly work. Equipped with a 360° rotating platform, adjustable lifting fork, earth bucket and telescopic jib, the machine is ideal for assembly work, as well as lifting, loading, unloading and moving earth. The four-wheel drive combined with three different types of steering and the hydraulic elevating cab which can rise up to 4 meters underline the versatility of the machine and make the 608 Multicrane an all-round machine for a wide variety of tasks.

A 613 M with a short 14.6 m boom is used in the BAUER plant in Aresing as a crane for the parts store. The shortened boom offers increased manoeuvrability in the store. The telescopic crane with road approval can move freely between the stores and impresses drivers with its tremendous manoeuvrability in limited spaces and with high loads. The 643 MI is a very special machine. For the industrial model of the 643, the standard machine has been equipped with a strong undercarriage for increased load and stability. A special wooden protection device has been mounted at the front and rear for use in industrial environments due to the proximity to the load. The storage facility for pallet lifting gear on the rear and the fenders for spray protection have proven highly beneficial in practice. Due to its high loads, the machine is used in an unsupported and freely moveable state to supply material in the production of large drilling rigs. Top drives and ballasts, for example, can be transported and placed safely in the intended assembly points using the elevating cab which can rise up to 2 m. "The 643 MI offers an extremely good price-performance ratio and is without a doubt the ideal machine for our requirements", states Josef Schupfner describing his experiences with the 643 MI.
